Why this particular cruise? It went to all the places I’d wanted to see for many years Where did the cruise go? Barbados to Barbados via the whole South American continent Did the ship measure up to your expectations? Yes! What were the cabins like? Neat. Old but well maintained. What was the food like? Great. Lots of variety, many options, well prepared. Not too many choices for vegetarians on the first four legs, but during the last leg, even my vegetarian companion stopped complaining about the lack of choices available to vegos. What were the ships facilities like? Great. I hear they are dated (from people who cruise a lot) but I found everything more than adequate. What was the best aspect of the ship/cruise? The ports of call. The staff. The lecture program. Who would this cruise appeal to? Older people, retirees with a sense of adventure and intellectual curiosity. |
