Fremantle to Fremantle

Why this particular cruise?
We chose this particular cruise because my father doesn’t fly and when the Sun Princess came to Fremantle, it was convenient.

Where did the cruise go?
We did South East Asia! Phuket, Langkawi, Penang, Kula Lumpur and Singapore but unfortunately because of all the trouble in Bangkok, Phuket got cancelled and we spent two days in Singapore – A bit disappointing but these things can’t be helped.

Did the ship measure up to your expectations?
It was our first ever cruise and we really didn’t know what to expect, but we were all blown away by it, a floating city.

What were the cabins like?
We were in a triple share inside cabin, the room consisted of two single beds and a pull down bunk bed, and it had plenty of storage space. The bathroom was small but it did the job! The only downfall with an inside cabin was we didn’t know if it was night or day – no window and there was no alarm clock, also the TV didn’t have al lot of stations to watch but apart from that is was great.

What was the food like?
OMG what can I say: Apart from putting on between 3-5kgs! Lol the food and the effort that goes into the displays and ice carvings is something that needs to be seen to be believed, on a cruise ship you NEVER go hungry.

What were the ship's facilities like?
The Sun Princess caters for all ages, you could never get bored. The gym is 5 stars, beauticians, hairdressers, simulator golf, kids clubs, pools, spas as well as all the day to day events advertised in the Princess Platter, Bingo, Horse Racing, Nintendo WII on the big screen, knitting, book clubs etc and the disabled facilities on board must be seen to be believed.

What was the best aspect of the ship/cruise?
The best aspect of the cruise is all the new people you meet and the socialising that you do. A memory that will be treasured for a lifetime

Who would this cruise appeal to?
I’m 29 and the oldest on the cruise was 97, I think the youngest apart from all the babies and little children was 16, I’m pretty sure this cruise appeal’s to anyone and everyone! I / will be definitely cruising again.
